Blood Duster formed during August 1991 in Glenroy, VIC, Australia. They gathered their influences from early grindcore bands like 'Napalm Death' and 'Carcass', while mixing in elements from 70s rock bands. The band started to play live around 1992 and from there built up a live reputation, with their shows being known for absurd and crude behaviour. Blood Duster announced their break-up and played their final show at the Corner Hotel in Richmond on December 9th 2017.

Tracks A1 to B7 originally appeared as the 'Str8outtanorthcote' CD on Dr. Jims Records (Australia) and Relapse Records for the rest of the world. Recorded and mixed at Studio International.
Tracks B8 to C1 were taken from the Demos for the 'Str8' album. Recorded and mixed at Sound Vault. This was taken from the original cassette tape as it was the only copy.
Tracks C2 to D2 recorded live at the Punters Club, Melbourne, Australia. 18-8-93. Not produced at all.
